Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and acknowledged around the world in other cultures. It starts on October 31st and ends on November 2nd.
Sugar Skulls or Calaveras are representations of a human skull. The term is most often applied to decorative or edible skulls made from either sugar or clay which are used in the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead.
