^KUAN YIN STATUE C/1
Kuan Yin is known in the East as the Bodhisattva of compassion. She is the celestial one who “hears the sounds of the world” and rescues people endangered or floundering in perilous situations. The serene countenance stands on a double lotus base with the robesĀ flowing naturally over her long, slender body. She holds a vase containing the divine nectar of life that is pouring out with her left hand, represents the relieving of suffering. The beautiful carving of her right hand raised in the Vitarka Mudra gesture with the thumb and the index finger touch to form a circle which symbolizes the constant flow of energy. Her hair is up on a bun on top of her head with the meditating figure of the Amida Buddha. This elegant large bronze Kuan Yin will be a great addition at your home.
