Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) began studying the chemistry and techniques of glassmaking at age 24. One of the most prolific designers of the late 19th century, during a span of more than seventy years he produced works of art; the most important were those rendered in glass. With its comprehensive assemblage of Tiffany’s work. The Charles Homer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park, Florida, houses a collection that documents Tiffany’s quest for “the pursuit of beauty”.
