Description
Water & Moon Kwan Yin
Kuan Yin is known in the East as the bodhisattva of compassion. She is the celestial one who “hears the sounds of the world” and rescues people endangered or floundering in perilous situations. The sculptor sculpted the Kuan Yin sitting criss cross on the rock with her hand in Karana Mudra gesture where the thumb presses the folded middle fingers while the index and little fingers are raised straight in an upward direction with her palm facing forward on her left hand and the right hand is stretched out horizontally with the palm facing upward. The Karana Mudra is believed to help in removing negative energy and obstacles. Great to display this piece by a big clearing window at your home.
